Summer 2016 will see Flint at Shaw Vineyards revisit one of Shakespeare's most popular and best known love stories, Romeo and Juliet. This tragic tale of forbidden love set against the violence of warring families is by far one of Shakespeare's most popular stories.
A violent street brawl between rival families the Montague’s and Capulet’s is the prelude to Romeo’s first encounter with Juliet. Despite this, and the fact that Juliet has been promised to another man in marriage, they fall in love. But any plans for their future happiness are cruelly destroyed by renewed violence between the two families. With its wonderful combination of lyricism, comedy, suspense and drama, Shakespeare’s heartbreaking tale is one of the greatest of all love stories.
With loads of food and wine options available on the night including hampers, gelato, coffee, cocktails and more. This is strictly a NO BYO event
Gates will open at 4:30 for pre show restaurant bookings with hamper collection available from 5:30pm (see ticketing options).
Show commences at 7pm sharp and should conclude around 9pm.
